FORT MYERS, Fla. — Present and former teammates turned out in left field of the brand new jetBlue Park on Friday evening for the retirement ceremony of longtime Boston Red Sox knuckleballer Tim Wakefield. One of those who took the time to make an appearance was former teammate Derek Lowe, who was with Wakefield on the 2003 and 2004 Red Sox teams. In 2003, Wakefield surrendered the game-winning homer to Aaron Boone in Game 7 of the ALCS, sending the New York Yankees to the World Series.
